Creating a report archive in Banner ePrint is a multi-step process. First you define an archive specification via your web browser, to indicate the reports and dates to be archived and/or purged. (This specification can be re-used as often as required.) When you are ready to generate the archive, the system provides summary data, so that you can verify that the selected report instances are the ones you wished to archive and/or purge. Then you click a button to process the archive. ePrint will process the archive specification and alert you when the "burning" can take place. The resulting ISO formatted file can be burned on a desktop machine of your choice. Follow the links below for more information:

NOTE: The archive function in ePrint can purge the selected reports from the system. It can be a mechanism for backup that can be tailored to your specific requirements. Archived reports remain on file in the ePrint server. Purging reports can be accomplished by using the same archive specification but selecting PURGE as the destination choice. This will permanently delete the selected reports and instances from the server.
