The "Permitted Functions" page is displayed when you highlight a repository and select the Security button on the "Modify Administrators" page. This page will enable you to limit the functions which a given administrator may access in a specific repository.

The "Permitted Functions" page is divided into sections. Each section corresponds to a group of functions. Each function corresponds to a menu entry on the "Choose an Administrative Task" page.

If a checkmark appears to the left of an individual task, the chosen administrative user is able to access that function. If the checkbox is empty, the user is not allowed to access that function

To Allow or Deny Access to a Function Group :

Each function group contains a checkbox. This checkbox is used for the convenience of checking and unchecking an entire function group at once. However, once the group checkbox is checked or unchecked, you may alter individual functions. The setting of the individual function is the only information considered by Banner ePrint when determining if a user can access a function. .

To Save Permitted Functions:

Save Press the Save button to record the permitted functions listed on the page. After pressing Save, the page will be presented for confirmation. Only those function groups which have all individual functions checked will have the function group checkbox checked after saving.

To Return to the Edit Repositories Page:

Done Press the Done button to return to the "Edit Repositories" page. The current set of choices for the Administrator will be saved, and the "Edit Repositories" page will appear.
