NOTE: This function is not applicable to Banner defined repositories.

The security loader log is a processing summary for the security loading batch process that runs on the Banner ePrint server. It appears when you select Security Loader from the Security Troubleshooting section ("Choose Administrative Task" page).

Remember that the security loading log pertains only to the selected repository.

The security loading program runs each time a security extract is uploaded to ePrint. It typically is run periodically; it does not have to be run each time a report is uploaded to the server. The security loading program implements operator updates and changes to the organization's value-based security.

Log messages

The log provides detailed status/diagnostic messages on security loading, including the date and time of processing and the outcome (with a specific reason if not successful.) For a list of log messages, including the likely problem and a suggested solution for each message, see the "Security Loader Log Messages" topic.

To specify the log and length of the display:

Log entries are stored on the ePrint server for a period of five weeks. When displaying a log, you indicate which week's log to use (current week, last week, two weeks ago, etc.). You also can change the number of lines of the display, so that you can view more or less of the log's entries. See "Changing a Log Display" for more information.
