Security Incoming Error Directory

The "Security Incoming Error Directory" page is used to maintain the files existing in the Security Incoming Error Directory on the Banner ePrint server. During the testing phase of implementing ePrint files may exist in this directory that be not be needed anymore.

You will be presented with the name of the file, date, time and size of the file. This information should be helpful in troubleshooting problems in parsing these files.

You will need to either rename, delete or move the file in the directory. You can also view the contents of the file.

To rename a file:

Select (click on) the file that you would like to rename and click on the Rename button. You will be directed to the "Rename file" page. Enter the new name of the file and click on the Rename button.

To delete a file:

From time to time, you may need to delete a file from the incoming error directory. Simply select the file and click the Delete button. A confirmation dialog box is displayed, click on OK to confirm deletion of the file.

To move a file:

If you need to reprocess a file, you can move it from the incoming error directory to the securityin directory and have the parser reprocess it. Simply select the file and click the Move button. A confirmation message is displayed.

To view the contents of a file:

You may want to view the contents of a file in the error directory. This may assist you in troubleshooting problems with the file. When you click on the View Button, a new window will open and the view will be displayed using a simple text editor.
