The "Report Incoming Directory" page is used to maintain the files existing in the Report Incoming Directory on the Banner ePrint server. During the testing phase of implementing ePrint, files may exist in this directory that may not be needed anymore. These files may inhibit other reports from being processed by the server.

You will be presented with the name of the file, date, time and size of the file. This information should be helpful in troubleshooting problems in parsing these files.

If you receive a "Overwrite Permission Denied" message in the FTP step, this means the file you are trying to download to the ePrint server already exists in the Incoming directory. You will need to either delete or rename the file in the directory and try the FTP step again.

To rename a file:

RenameSelect (click on) the file that you would like to rename and click on the Rename button. You will be directed to the "Rename file" page. Enter the new name of the file and click on the Rename button.

To delete a file:

DeleteFrom time to time, you may need to delete a file from the incoming directory. Simply select the file and click the Delete button. A confirmation dialog box is displayed, click on OK to confirm deletion of the file.

To move a file:

MoveIf you need to move a file or files from the current repository to another repository, click the Move button, You will be taken to a new page to complete the move. See "Moving files to another repository", under Related Topics for more information.

To view the contents of a file:

ViewYou may want to view the contents of a file in the incoming directory. This may assist you in troubleshooting problems with the file. When you click on the View Button, a new window will open and the view will be displayed using a simple text editor.
