From time to time, you may need to perform maintenance tasks for existing reports. You can delete reports from the ePrint server. (For example, you might want to remove a duplicate report or a report with bad data. Or you may need to purge old reports from the system.) When you select Delete from the Report Tasks section of the main menu, the "Delete Reports" page is displayed. This help page will guide you in selecting the report(s) to be deleted.
The Delete Reports page is used to remove stored reports from the ePrint server. You can either delete an entire report type (delete all the instances of a given type of report from the server) or select the particular instances of a report to be deleted. For information on a specific maintenance task, see below.
To delete all the instances of a particular report, select (click on) the report name in the scroll box and click the Delete button. You may hold down the SHIFT key (for a contiguous range) or the CTRL key (for multiple values that are not adjacent) to select more than one report. Then click the Delete button to remove the reports from the database. A confirmation dialog will be displayed, to verify your intentions. If you click the OK button, all the instances will be permanently removed from the database on the ePrint server.
Select (click on) the appropriate report name and click the drill icon. The "Delete Report Instances" page is displayed, so that you can specify the instances to be deleted. This page will display each instance of the report including, the report title, report date and time, and the size of the report file. For more information, see the "Deleting Selected Report Instances" topic.
